FASFA: Students applying for scholarships (including HOPE) must fill out the FAFSA (Free Applications for Federal Student Aid) form. FAFSA forms will be distributed to seniors during advisement in January. You are strongly encouraged to complete the FAFSA online. To download a FAFSA application: www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Your completed FAFSA forms may be submitted anytime after January 1. We advise all seniors and their parents to complete this form and submit it as soon as possible for the best opportunity to receive assistance. Money in certain college endowment funds, grants, etc. may run out, as colleges often issue these on a first come first served basis for qualified students. Indiana University Merit Scholarships: Seniors admitted to IU may automatically qualify to receive scholarships if they present minimum ACT/SAT scores of at least 26/1160 and GPA of 3.6.
